LPC, meet your new student body president

When asked about the school spirit here on campus he thinks it could be improved, but it's not horrible the way it is. He wants to come up with a way to encourage the school spirit among students and faculty, "without giving the high school vibe."
As an uncontested president, he still campaigned as much as he could. In the past, two people said they were going to run against him, but they never did. He had designed stickers that said "Masi Q is right for you" and handed them out to students anyway.
A candidate table was set up on the patio outside the café a few days before the elections and he sat at the table in order to converse with people on campus and show his friendly personality.
"Masi is the kind of guy who just talks to everybody," Cynthia Ross said. "He's very charismatic and very friendly so I'm sure in his own way he campaigned through the people he talked to."
"Sudharsan Dwaraknath has really stepped up and has made this probably the most advertised election ever," Quoriyshi said. "In the past there was hardly any advertising if anything."
"The job is difficult, and all presidents have taken different approaches," Ross said. "I think he'll find his leadership style and grow into the position. The position is difficult, but he'll do fine."
"Our first obligation is still our own education," Quorayshi said. "It's hard to do everything then something more on top of it."
With everything happening on campus and with his newly found leadership role, next year may turn out to be productive and new ideas will be established.
"I'm looking forward to next year, its going to be a good year," Ross said.
