How did you first hear about the Slam?

Through Toby's Class. She was telling everybody about it.

Why did you choose to participate?

I enjoy going to poetry readings, they're cool. I like impregnating young minds.

Was there a moment when you knew you had one?

I knew as soon as Ekabhumi announced that I had broken the 9 barrier. That meant nobody else had as high of a score.

What was the most rewarding part of the slam?

The 50 bucks. I also enjoyed hearing everyone else's poems and their different styles.

What was the inspiration for your poems?

The second poem was about the femme fatale. My intention was for the audience to be both intrigued and disgusted by the poem. The hot blonde with the clap was supposed to be a reference to being beautiful but tainted. She sucked my soul out of my dick, was to show how a woman can use her beauty to steal your soul.

California was simply about my love for California, something I think everybody relates to.
